Workshop Leading Hand - Hamilton

We are seeking a positive and inspiring person to join our team as a Workshop Leading hand. You will be required to float between our two workshops in Te Rapa, Hamilton.
Reporting to the Hamilton Service Manager, this position will assist to lead and supervise our team and make sure they operate effectively and efficiently on the floor.
This role will be responsible for ensuring customer retention and satisfaction is maximised. You will encourage staff to follow best practice and ensure we meet or exceed customer deadlines and expectations. A key part of this role is to develop our technicians, your industry experience, leadership skills and high standards will be imperative to your success.
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated organisational skills
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience successfully leading and developing a team of staff
• Trade Certificate in Automotive Heavy Engineering (Road Transport)
• Class 4 license preferable
