Service Administrator
CAL Isuzu is New Zealand’s largest Isuzu truck dealership, with branches across Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga. We’re known for strength, reliability, and doing things properly — and right now, our Hamilton (Waikato) branch is entering an exciting new chapter.
We’re currently rebuilding and transforming our Waikato dealership into a state-of-the-art service facility, and we’re looking for a motivated Service Administrator to join our Hamilton team and be part of this journey.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in keeping our busy service operation running smoothly. From job processing to workshop coordination, your work ensures accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience for both our customers and team.
This is an important role at the centre of our service operation, helping keep things running smoothly as our department continues to grow and improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and closing service job cards accurately and efficiently
- Supporting Service Advisors and workshop teams with daily operations
- Managing service documentation, warranties, and compliance records
- Reviewing time clocking reports and ensuring accuracy against timesheets
- Preparing call-out and payroll spreadsheets each Monday morning
- Coordinating communication between service, workshop, and parts teams
- Ensuring all job files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
- Supporting consistency and process improvement as we upgrade our facility
- General administrative support across the service department
About You
- Previous administration experience (automotive or workshop environment ideal)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
