Our Hamilton branch is currently entering an exciting new phase as we rebuild and transform our Waikato dealership into a modern, state-of-the-art facility — and we are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our service team on a fixed-term maternity leave cover.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and workshop team, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience from booking through to vehicle completion and handover.

You’ll work closely with customers, technicians, and the wider service department to help keep jobs flowing efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner 
  • Receiving, recording, and managing service bookings and job requests 
  • Liaising between customers and workshop technicians regarding job progress 
  • Providing accurate updates on timelines, costs, and required work 
  • Preparing job cards, invoices, and service documentation 
  • Maintaining strong customer communication throughout the repair process 
  • Supporting the workshop and service team with daily coordination 
  • Ensuring all service administration is completed accurately and efficiently 

About You

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor, automotive, or customer service role (truck or automotive industry preferred) 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Confident using computer systems and service scheduling tools 
  • Detail-focused, organised, and team-oriented 
  • Positive attitude with a strong customer service focus
