Following the internal promotion of our current New Truck Processing Manager, we're looking for someone to take the lead of our New Truck Processing (NTP) team in Hamilton.
This is a great time to join the team, working from our brand-new, purpose-built Hamilton facility with a dedicated New Truck Processing designed to support an efficient, high-quality NTP operation.
As NTP Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the department and lead our team of NTP Technicians and Groomer/Driver, ensuring new trucks are prepared to a high standard and ready for delivery on time.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting the NTP Technicians and Groomer/Driver
- Planning and allocating daily workflow
- Managing priorities and new truck delivery deadlines
- Monitoring jobs and resolving delays or bottlenecks
- Coordinating vehicle movements, grooming and final preparation
- Ensuring trucks meet CAL Isuzu's quality and presentation standards
- Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Parts and Service
- Managing team performance, productivity and development
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient NTP operation
- Looking for ways to improve processes and turnaround times
What we're looking for
You'll be a practical, organised leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of getting the job done.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience
- Experience in heavy automotive, trucks, transport or a similar environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple jobs and changing priorities
- Strong communication and people skills
- A good eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Good computer literacy
- A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach
- Minimum Class 4 Driver Licence, or the ability to obtain one
